From Alterations to Empowerment
My journey into fashion started sitting beside my grandmother, a dressmaker, watching
her transform clothes to fit people perfectly. Even then, I noticed how different everyone's bodies were, and how rare it was to find clothes that fit beautifully off the rack.

Years later, after managing several fashion retailers, and spending time in the fashion market scene curating pieces and connecting with customers I noticed a frustrating pattern ~ most labels started at size 6 and stopped at size 12, leaving both smaller and curvier women with limited options and boutiques seemed to cater to either younger or older women, with few spaces where everyone felt welcome. That's when The Style Capsule was born ~ first online in 2016, and now in our beautiful Rundle Street boutique in Adelaide's vibrant heart.
VALENTÉ ~ my maiden name meaning "valiant and strong" in Italian ~ is more than just a fashion label. It's my vision for what clothes can be: beautiful, comfortable, and designed to make you feel confident. Born from seeing too many women limited by standard sizing and uninspiring designs, VALENTÉ celebrates diversity and empowers through thoughtful design. Available in sizes 4-18, every piece is created with care and attention to those special details that make all the difference.

This cause is close to my heart because I believe fashion should build confidence, not diminish it. By supporting size diversity and contributing to positive body image, we're working toward a world where everyone feels comfortable in their own skin.
